Therapy
Therapy is an ongoing commitment to reflection, growth, and transformation. The work happens gradually, week by week, in a consistent space that we hold together. My role is to help you approach both difficulties and possibilities with curiosity, honesty, and care.
I offer a free 20-minute consultation where we talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope for, and what progress might look like. It’s also a chance for me to share more about my approach and for us to decide if working together feels like a good fit.
In ongoing therapy, I take an active role: listening closely for themes and patterns, noticing what may be holding you back, and helping you re-examine the stories you tell yourself. Progress often looks less like a quick fix and more like new ways of relating to yourself and others, moving through resistance with curiosity rather than fear, and creating space for both healing and possibility.
There are no “one size fits all” solutions to the concerns that bring you here. That’s why we’ll take our time to listen to the deeper parts of you that are asking to be noticed and tended to. Over time, we’ll piece together what feels broken, missing, or unsettled — sometimes through dreams and imagery, sometimes through what unfolds between us.
Fees and Insurance
My fee is $150 for a fifty-minute session. Because therapy works best when it happens consistently, I meet with patients on a weekly basis. Together, we’ll choose a time that fits and hold that hour as your space each week. Once a weekly schedule is set, that time is reserved for you. You are responsible for payment whether or not you attend, with the exception of times when I am away due to illness or planned absences — in which case you will not be charged.
I recognize that payment can sometimes be a barrier to meaningful work. Reduced rates may be available in certain cases, and this is something we can talk about together.
Payment is made after each session through secure, HIPAA-compliant methods. I currently accept Aetna, Carelon, Cigna, and Optum. If I am considered an out-of-network provider for your insurance, I can provide you with a statement (sometimes called a “superbill”) that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
If what I’ve described resonates with you, I invite you to reach out for a consultation. It would be a privilege to learn more about what brings you to therapy and to consider together how this work might support your growth.
