Supervision
Like therapy, supervision and consultation are spaces for you to grow and expand your mind, but with a more focused and nuanced lens. In our time together, we’ll explore dynamics and questions that arise between you and your patients, as well as ethical considerations, matters of safety, treatment planning, and case conceptualization.
Ultimately, my aim as your supervisor or consultant is to guide you through the inevitable turbulence you encounter as you develop and strengthen your clinical voice. Together, we’ll explore the unique presence that you offer to your patients. You have arrived to the role of therapist in your very own way - my hope is that we build on what makes your experience meaningful to your role now and to help you lean on and further develop the strengths that you’ve already cultivated.
I am an approved Washington State Supervisor, which means that our time together can be applied towards required supervision hours for independent licensure. Washington State Law requires that all associate licensed clinicians meet with their supervisor every eighty client hours and no less than once per month. This means that for supervision I require that we meet on a bi-weekly basis.
My fee for supervision and consultation depends on context. For therapists in private practice, I charge the same rate that you charge your patients. For agency-based clinicians or those with financial constraints, we can discuss an adjusted fee.
If you are looking for a thoughtful place to grow in your clinical work, I would be glad to connect with you.
